Your events have been amazing over the years. Thanks for all the time and effort and smiles and tears along the way. I know it's not been easy but as one of your riders I am forever grateful for the everything you put into organising them.

The routes were beautiful, the feed stations spot on and the days were always so well run.

I was sad to hear there'll be no more - mainly because the Beast is missing from the medal tally! - but fully understand the need to focus on your own adventures.

Thank you once again and happy cycling!!

I was rider 24 who unfortunately broke my collarbone yesterday during your event.

I want to send my thanks to you and the ambulance crew who assisted me yesterday.

That was a highly amusing email about the way markers as I missed lots of them haha. Completely my own fault, I admit that. Garmin route wasn’t working for me either so I was well lost.
However I still really enjoyed the event and thank you for your support and guidance on getting a well off course rider (myself) back on course. Much appreciated mate. I feel I’ve got unfinished business with (the beast) lakes 108 and would love another crack at it next year. Volunteers were great, course was great. All in all a great event.

Unfortunately I won’t be in any of the finish line photos because I smashed into a bollard less than a mile into the race, knackered my bike and gave myself whiplash.
Absolutely gutted but have to say you put on a fantastic event, everyone I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. Just a pity I couldn’t do my part.
Thank you all for a great experience.

3 of us did the Boxer ride on the weekend and I would say it was one of the best Sportive's I've done.
Venue fantastic, route fantastic, registration fantastic, food stop fantastic, weather fantastic ( Bonus). Really good event. Alas I think I read that it was the last one?? Thats a real shame but if it is the case all 3 of us are pleased, we managed to get it done.
All the best
Wayne, Lisa, Jeremy.

Thanks for all your effort, organisation and the amazing volunteers. I was affected by the current Wahoo firmware bug, so I was entirely reliant on the direction arrows. They were superb.

Once again, thanks for a superb route.

Thank you very much indeed for all your excellent organisation of the Boxer Event.

My nephew Ethan, 13y, had completed all of the 66 miles trek without pushing his bike. The longest distance he had ever done before this ride was 40km just 3 weeks ago. He has managed the Boxer event on a mountain bike, La Pierre MTB. Not surprisingly he has very sore achy legs this morning and some difficulty walking, and feeling tired. However he is feeling very happy, and has really enjoyed the event.

I just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU, to everyone that was involved in making the Boxer Cycling Sportive such a successful event.
Including your good self -
1. Chris the Master Organiser of the entire route- it was absolutely splendid with great scenery, and for arranging the friendly spacious car parking and toilet facilities at the 3-1-5 Leisure Club, and organisation of the feed stations (I understand that you would have had multiple communications with local community and government, compliance with regulations and for insurance, and trying to keep everybody happy)
2. the folks who carefully covered the full course of pinning up the yellow arrow signs to keep us on the right track, and taking them all down again
3. the Marshalls standing in the heat of the sun ; the registration / finishing teams and for the friendly welcomes
4. the volunteers at the 1/2 way feed station in Stavely for the hot drinks and snacks, and water supplies
5. we are particularly grateful for two volunteers at the finish feed station for the hot coffee, and the splendid supply of chocs/ biscuits, bananas, and apple pies - when we were feeling extremely exhausted and hungry at the end of the ride (especially to people like me who done the extended journey riding up towards the top of Halton Hill by foolishly mis- reading the yellow arrow on the way back to Lancaster)
6. the brilliant metallic medals for the riders to take home, what an honour

We are very grateful for good people like you who have done so much to give all the riders a great ride day out, it was absolutely brilliant!
Wishing you to have many blessed good times with your family and friends!!

Kind regards,

Tom, West Lancs
Mr City Ng and Ethan (From HK visiting UK for two weeks) what an honour for them to take back their precious medals home, nobody else would have this in HK
