funny – but we can t wait for next sunday 🙂

after months of planning, spending day after day driving round our lake district 100 routes, compiling maps and risk assessments galore, sitting at desks bashing away at laptop keys 12 hours a day.  waking up at daft o clock with a head full of ideas and panic that we have no riders or helpers, completely changing  systems we thought were bulletproof and ordering totally wrong kit like huge gazebbos and sending them back by courier services.

although we have a stack of work to do between now and event day – 29 april – the least being to attach 300+ arrows and warning signs at every junction for 100 loop of cumbrian roads and lanes – we feel confident that our team of helpers will all be superstars as will the awesome riders who have put their faith in us by entering what is a new sportive on the calendar – so all involved will come together to make our first event an epic 🙂
